The federal government wants Canadians to switch to electric vehicles. Are they interested?

Despite record-breaking electric vehicle (EV) sales in Canada, challenges remain, including high prices, limited charging infrastructure, and the absence of rebates. Electric Mobility Canada notes a growing interest in EVs, but observers caution that the market's complexity suggests not all Canadians are ready to embrace them.
