Orange EV opens Canadian operations

Roberto Bragagnolo has been appointed to lead Orange EV's Canadian operations, leveraging his experience as the former general manager at Finning and his tenure with Export Development Canada. Orange EV's Canadian operations, operating under the banner OEV Canada, will be headquartered in Toronto. Bragagnolo highlighted the company's existing presence in cold weather markets like Minnesota, western New York, and Ontario, emphasizing the move's benefits for North American customers and the environment. Orange EV aims to lead in climate change mitigation by manufacturing heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs) that offer financial and operational advantages. Co-founder and CTO Kurt Neutgens underscored Canadian fleets' interest in Orange EV's products, noting the increased demand, especially with the availability of $100,000 per truck discounts through Canada's incentives for Medium-and Heavy-Duty Zero Emission Vehicles (iMHZEV) program. This expansion reflects Orange EV's commitment to meeting growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions in Canada.
