Hyundai Canada has expanded its EValuate program, aimed at providing extended test drives for electric vehicle (EV) curious Canadians, by adding the all-new IONIQ 6 to its lineup. This program, powered by Turo, allows customers to experience the electrified lifestyle firsthand through multi-day test drives of Hyundai's latest EV offerings. The IONIQ 6, introduced in 2023 as part of Hyundai's all-electric IONIQ brand, boasts exceptional driving dynamics, spacious interiors, and energy efficiency. Recognized with prestigious awards such as "World Car of the Year" and "Canadian Green Car of the Year for 2023," the IONIQ 6 is positioned as one of the top choices in the EV market.
Through the EValuate program, customers can test drive the IONIQ 6 for two to five days, experiencing its ultra-fast charging capabilities and impressive range of up to 581 km. The initiative aims to address barriers to EV adoption by allowing consumers to explore how electric vehicles can seamlessly integrate into their lifestyles. Ken Maisonville, director of national sales at Hyundai Canada, emphasizes the importance of providing consumers with opportunities to experience EVs firsthand, recognizing it as a crucial step towards broader adoption. Cedric Mathieu, Senior Vice President of Turo Canada, echoes this sentiment, highlighting the partnership's role in expanding electric vehicle offerings and facilitating extended test drives for Canadians.
The EValuate platform, available through select dealerships in Ontario, Quebec, Vancouver, and now Atlantic Canada, allows customers to book their Hyundai EV trial conveniently online or via the Turo app. The initiative seeks to increase consumer education and awareness of electric vehicles, ultimately driving widespread EV adoption across Canada.
