Ford Pro introduces a suite of charging tools aimed at simplifying the electrification of commercial vehicle fleets, with the Series 2 AC Charging Station leading the pack. Available for pre-order since August 29th, this charger delivers up to 80 amps of power and boasts various safety and security features tailored for workplace charging. Compatible with both Ford and non-Ford electric vehicles, it offers energy tracking capabilities, monitoring kWh consumption, charge speed, and distance to empty. Notably, the charger can track individual vehicle charging history through Ford Pro's charging management software. Designed to withstand diverse conditions, it operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C and at elevations of up to 3,500 meters, with enhanced security features including RFID card access control. Ford Pro's CEO, Ted Cannis, emphasizes their commitment to facilitating the transition to electric vehicles for businesses through comprehensive charging solutions and consultancy services.
