Unwilling to invest such an amount in a decade-old car, he decided against the replacement. The University of Toronto Electric Vehicle Research Centre emphasizes that complete battery failure is rare, and modern EV batteries are superior to those made a decade ago. However, potential buyers of used electric vehicles or owners of aging ones are advised to consider the battery's age and warranty status. VinFast, a new Canadian electric car company, offers an alternative approach. Customers purchase VinFast EVs without the battery cost, subscribing to monthly fees covering battery repairs, maintenance, and replacements, providing a worry-free experience throughout the vehicle's life.
