Alectra Utilities and Hydro One are now providing customers with the opportunity to enroll in the Ontario Energy Board's ultra-low overnight (ULO) electricity pricing plan, in anticipation of the November 1st deadline set by the energy regulator. The ULO pricing plan offers customers a structured rate based on the time and day of electricity consumption, featuring notably low rates during overnight hours. This makes it an appealing option, especially for electric vehicle (EV) drivers, as it allows for cost-effective charging during off-peak periods.
